The Redoing Project: How to use Assessment Results to Drive Change and Overcome Resistance
Speaker(s)
Session Description
As new accreditation standards, both from the ABA and the regional accreditors, drive schools to conduct more and more assessment at all levels of the organization, we find ourselves bathed in data, but not knowing what to do with it, and even when we do, often finding stakeholders resistant to change. This program will address what to do when the assessment is done, and there are needs to be addressed. Discussion will include interpreting assessment results, identifying opportunities, and engaging stakeholders in the process, with special attention paid to how data can be misinterpreted, why people resist change, and how to overcome that resistance.
